According to Epson, the new Moverio BT-300 Smart Glasses is their lightest see through smart glasses to date which is 20 percent lighter than the previous model. It is also more powerful with a quad core Intel Atom X5processor with Android 5.1 Lollipop, which allows the smart glasses to render complex 3D images into the display. The new Epson Moverio BT-300 smart glasses also comes with an upgraded 5MP camera that features on-board sensors to allow the device to accurately determine the location of object in the real world. The new Epson EcoTank Printers offer a more convenient and even cost-effective way to printing, both in black and white and in color. While it make take users two years to make that next refill, the replacement ink will prove to be affordable at $52 per set of bottles, or around $13 per refill bottle. The new Epson EcoTank Printers makes use of the advanced MicroPiezo printhead technology for better quality and cost effective prints. Coupled with the Supertank ink reservoirs, these line offers businesses and offices big or small with an entirely new printing system. The Epson EcoTank line comes with several printer models that cater to different business or office sizes. Nokia Sues LCD Manufacturers for Price-Fixing (0)

One year after three LCD manufacturers paid a US$585 million to the U.S. Department of Justice for admitting they have participated in a price-fixing cartel, Nokia wants these companies to pay for their unscrupulous ways. The Finnish mobile phone company filed a lawsuit against eight LCD makers for overcharging their products, hoping that Nokia would win damages that would recover the cost it overpaid to these companies for LCD displays used in its handsets. The defendants include Seiko Epson, Hitachi, LG Display, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, and Chunghwa Picture Tube.  Although the amount of damage was not specified, the alleged collusion covers a ten-year period between 1996 and 2006, during which time Nokia claims to have paid overblown prices for LCD displays. This lawsuit comes after Nokia filed a suit against Apple for allegedly infringing several Nokia patents for its iPhone. Read More
