MetroPCS is not stopping on it barrage of budget-friendly handsets; most recently being the Android-based ZTE Avid 4G. Compared to its pricier cousins, this smartphone sports a slightly smaller 4-inch display with 800 x 480 resolution, the same 1.2GHz dual-core CPU of unspecified brand, and a more updated Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

The device also comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a VGA-quality shooter at the front, native LTE connectivity, and–for an additional monthly charge–the ability to turn into a mobile hotspot.

You can grab your very own ZTE Avid 4G at MetroPCS stores both online and brick-and-mortar for only $149 without any contracts attached.
