When it comes to utilizing the touchscreen to its full capacity, Fruit Ninja has to be one of them. Since its debut two years ago, Halfbrick’s slashing action game has become so popular it is now installed on one-third of all iPhones in the United States. As the app celebrates its 300 million download mark, Fruit Ninja presents its latest update: an in-app marketplace manned by Merchant Gutsu and his trusted assistant Truffles the pig.

Gutsu’s Cart offers an array of game-changing power-ups in exchange for Starfruit, Fruit Ninja’s virtual currency. The game app also comes with new features such as Bomb Deflects (swatting game-ending bombs), Berry Blasts (a highly-explosive super fruit), and Peachy Time (slashing peaches brings extra time in Arcade and Zen Modes).

Fruit Ninja version 1.8.0 is now available on the Apple App Store for the usual price of $0.99.
