Digital cameras today have become quite advanced than they were before. They also have become quite small, the reason why even the micro-four thirds become popular nowadays. The small size do not in any way limit such digital cameras have the functionality of DSLR’s. One such example is the new Olympus OM-D E-M5 Digital Camera.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 digital camera features a light and compact body but with a functionality of a DSLR/ this mirrorless camera makes it possible to have interchangeable lens yet also have the automated features that many casual users look for. It features a 16MP LIVE-MOS sensor with TruePic VI Image Processor. It also comes with one of the world’s fastest autofocus system, a 5 axis In-body Image Stabilization system and a magnesium alloy aluminum body with splash and dust protection.

In effect, the Olympus OM-D E-M5 is quite an advanced digital camera that comes with a classic design of what cameras looked like in the past. Consider it as a modern classic digital camera or even the other way around. But what may be a turnoff for some to have this Micro Four Thirds is the steep price point. While the Olympus E-M5 digital camera may cost $999, that does not yet include the interchangeable lens. A complete set would range up to $1,300 to buy. But the advanced features may more than make up for the price when some people may consider getting this digital camera.
