Samsung reveals its latest Android-based GoPhone for AT&T. The Samsung Galaxy Appeal packs a side-slider QWERTY keyboard, which we think is the manufacturer’s way of saying, “Get off our backs, Apple.”

It also comes with a 3.2-inch HVGA display with 480 x 320 resolution, Android 2.3, 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor, 512MB of RAM, microSD port, a 3-megapixel rear camera, and 1300mAh battery. The 4.3-ounce device is made of 80 percent recycled material.

The Samsung Galaxy Appeal for AT&T GoPhone will start retailing on June 5th at Walmart for $150 and on AT&T outlets beginning July 15th. Buyers can choose between the $50 Unlimited Talk & Text nationwide plan or the $25 Unlimited Text with 250 Minutes nationwide plan. Both prepaid plans come with unlimited WiFi usage on AT&T hotspots and data plans for as much as $25 monthly for 1GB worth of mobile Internet browsing.
