Stix Peel-Off 3D Stickers for Eye Glasses

Watching 3D movies is an enjoyable experiences, but people wearing glasses would tell you it is no fun putting on those ugly 3D shades over their own. That is exactly how designer Lucy Jung felt.

“I had to wear contact lens to go to a 3D cinema ’cause it was really uncomfortable to wear two glasses at the same time,” she wrote on her Yanko page.

Collaborating with Daejin Ahn, she designed a concept called “Stix,” a pair of 3D stickers you can place over your own eye glasses. The stickers are slightly bigger than the average glasses to make sure every bit of it gets covered. Once your are done watching, you can simply peel them off without damaging your glasses.

It does look like a cool prototype, but we wonder whether movie houses would allow it. After all, they charge premium for those ugly 3D glasses.
