If you are addicted to playing “Draw Something” on your smartphone, be careful. It has been reported that cyberscammers had been preying on the draw-savvy users

Computer security firm Sophos warned Draw Something users that they could receive spam messages claiming they have won a prize, but would have to visit a certain website first to claim it.

From there, users are led to a survey scam where they are tricked into revealing their personal information. There is close to zero chance that they would receive any prize, but what they will receive spam messages on their Twitter streams from @Tawandauvw.

Sophos said it has reported the alleged spam account to Twitter, but it is quite sure this would not be the last time we would see such scammers on Draw Something.

The social drawing app has become one of the most-downloaded so far this year. The hype about Draw Something grew even bigger after its developer OMGPop was acquired by social gaming giant Zynga for $210 million.
