A new edition of Angry Birds is being cooked up by its Finnish developer Rovio. Those flinging, destructive birds are set to conquer a new frontier: outer space.

Rovio has announced “Angry Birds Space,” which will be an entirely separate game similar to Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio. Apart from unveiling this teaser video, nothing much has been divulged about how the lack of gravity would affect gameplay.

Word is that Angry Birds Space will be readily available on Samsung Galaxy S III, which will supposedly be launched on March 22 but Samsung remains mum about it. If you own other devices, you would be glad to know that this game will be released on Android, iOS, and Mac desktop by the end of March.
