While HTC prefers to stay mum on when it will update its wares into Android Ice Cream Sandwich, Motorola… not so much.

Motorola has revealed domestic and global timelines when its tablets and smartphones get Android 4.0. For instance, owners of the Xoom tablet WiFi edition in the US have been enjoying their ICS update since last month, while those totting the Family Edition Xoom can expect the new OS by the second quarter this year.

Meanwhile, those with RAZRs (including the Chinese MT917 edition) or XT928 (the Chinese version of Droid X) living outside the US will be getting ICS on Q2 as well. Owners of Atrix 4G, Atrix 2, Photon 4G, Xoom 2, and Xyboard all over the world will have to wait on Q3 of 2012 to get their upgrade.

Thoes who have upgradable Motorola devices not included in this article may have to wait for an announcement from the Moto engineers.
