Sprint has officially announced its latest Android-powered tablet that can be yours for only $99.99 with a two-year agreement and an appropriate data plan. The 7-inch ZTE Optik features a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a capacitive WXGA screen with 1,280 x 800 resolution and pinch-to-zoom, a microSD card slot for expanded memory, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, and dual cameras (5MP at the back, 2MP in the front). Users can enjoy the tablet as an e-book reader, media player, and a portable computing gadget.

Sprint begins distributing the ZTE Optik in its retail channels beginning February 5. If you do not prefer having a CDMA-only tablet, you can purchase the Optik obligation-free on the same day for only $349.99. All prices exclude taxes.
