Going around in the dark is always hard, especially with poor lighting. A wearable headlamp would do for those who have to use both hands doing tasks while in the dark. And for those who always want to have the right amount of light in different situations, the new NAO Headlamp from Petzl will probably be the best option.

While some people would think that any light source for a headlamp would be good enough, think again. There are times when the light can be too bright or it can be too dim which can also have an effect when moving about in the dark. What the NAO Headlamp offers is a means to adjust light brightness according to a given situation.

The NAO Headlamp features a light sensor fixed above its two high power LED light capable of providing 355 lumens of light. It comes with Reactive Lighting Technology that automatically adjusts light brightness via its sensor in order to provide just the right amount of light that is needed. Not only does it provide adequate lighting, it also help conserve the energy used, making its rechargeable battery last even longer than usual. The Petzl NAO Headlamp is expected to be available sometime in July. This special headlight is expected to cost around US$175.
