Want an even higher-performing solid-state drive? Plexor has just introduced its 2.5-inch, SATAIII-integrated M3 Pro during the CES 2012.

A successor of its current M3S, the M3 Pro features significant boost in sequential read/ write speeds to 540MB/s and 450MB/s respectively, while the random read/ write speeds bumps by around seven percent to 75,000/ 69,000 IOPs. Other new features include a high-grade 24nm Toggle Flash, firmware updates, the latest SATA 6Gb/s interface, a server-grade controller from Marvell, flash memory from Toshiba, and a 7MM height form factor to make it suitable for ultra-slim notebooks.

The SSD also comes with exclusive firmwares such as True Speed technology, as well as Plexor’s Bad Block Management, Global Wear Leveling, and Instant Restore technologies. True Speed prevents drastic drops in read/ write speed commonly seen in most SSDs. It also includes disk cloning and backup utilities for problem-free data transfers from HDD to an SSD.

The Plexor M3 Pro will be available in February 2012 with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities.
