Twitter has unveiled its redesigned user interface of its web portal and mobile apps. The popular microblogging site now comes in four new tabs: Home, Connect, Discover, and Me. According to Twitter, these tabs make tweeting experience less complicated and more streamlined. The new updates also include tweaks that are supposed to make Twitter cleaner and simpler, as well as bring together disparate parts of its service.

For instance, the streamlined interface not only focuses on @ mentions, but also your activity across your network. This includes notifications on who has followed you, favorited a post, and more. Another notable update is that Twitter now embeds photos and videos on the streamline instead of the usual links that lead to third-party apps.

These updates will be available in your account over the next few weeks, although the Android and iPhone apps have already been refreshed.
