Verizon Wireless will be offering Motorola Droid Xyboard tablets this month. The LTE-capable tablets, also known as Xoom 2 in Europe, come in two versions. The first one is a 8.2-inch device with IPS display, while the other has a much larger 10.1-inch IPS display. Both tablets have the same 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter, and an IR transmitter to control your home theater system.

The Xyboard tablets come with Motorola’s Motocast media streaming software, QuickOffice HD, Citrix GoToMeeting, and a suite of Google apps.

Apart from the screen size, the two tablets have its differences. For instance, the larger Xyboard ships with a stylus to master your doodling skills.

The 10.1-inch Xyboard comes in three memory variants. The 16GB model costs $529.99, the 32GB model is at $629.99, and the 64GB version costs $729.99. Meanwhile, the smaller 8.2-inch model is more reasonably priced. It comes in two models: 16GB for $429.99 and 32GB for $529.99. All purchases come with a two-year contract, excluding the monthly charge for Verizon LTE connection that starts at $30 for 2GB of bandwidth.
