Even if you think that people are getting more concerned with the environment, it seems that most people are just not doing all that they can. One case in point is the slow acceptance of more energy efficient LED lighting in homes. There are still a lot of people who prefer to use incandescent bulbs that waste a lot of energy to provide its light. One reason for this might be the lack of choices available for consumers, especially in the US. This might just be something that Samsung has thought about. That is why it is planning on introducing its line of Advanced LED Light Bulbs in the US.

Samsung might be known for its current lineup of consumer devices such as smartphones, notebooks and tablets. But the company also has other divisions that develop other products like LED light bulbs. The company is sharing its technology in this field and making them available for US consumers by bringing a lineup of energy efficient LED bulbs into the US.

Samsung will be bringing 3 sets of LED bulbs, the A19, the PAR and the MR16 in the US market. The A19 bulbs can be a power saving 40W incandescent bulb alternative. The PAR Bulbs can replace their halogen bulb equivalents while the MR16 is designed for recessed, vanity and track lighting. The energy efficient LED bulbs have a life expectancy between 27 to 36 years. The prices for the new Samsung LED bulbs range from US$20 to US$60. They will be exclusively available at Lowe’s.
