Panasonic Toughpad A1 Tablet

Panasonic is now trying to get into the tablet market by offering its new line of tablet PC’s. But this time, it tries to be unique by making the tablets tough. Inline with its Toughbook Series, Panasonic is introducing its new Panasonic Toughpad A1 Tablet.

The Panasonic Toughpad A1 Tablet features a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with embedded hardware security. It runs on the Android Honeycomb OS and comes with a 1GB DDR2 RAM and 16GB Flash Drive. It also comes with a 10-inch XGA LED Multi-touch display and a 5MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash along with a 2MP front camera.

The Panasonic Toughpad A1 also comes WiFi ready as well as integrated 4G connectivity for WiMax and LTE networks. It also has a GPS receiver and Bluetooth support as well. But what makes it unique is that it is designed with toughness in mind as it is MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certified. The new Panasonic Toughpad A1 tablet is an ideal candidate for use in tough conditions. The new Panasonic Toughpad A1 is expected to be available in the market sometime in early 2012. It is expected to cost around US$1,300, the price consumers may be expected to pay for tablet toughness.
