Ads of Nokia Windows Phone, With New Name, Leaked

Nokia has been promising that its first Windows Phone 7 smartphone, which came by codenames like “Sea Ray” and “Sun,” will be shipped by the end of the year and by the looks of it that promise will soon be fulfilled. Tech blog PocketNow posted leaked advertisements of the upcoming handset, which now goes by the new–and hopefully official–name of Nokia 800. The ad features a copy that reads, “Take, tag, sort and share. All in a flash.”

“Just click the button on the side of the new Nokia 800 and an 8MP photo can be easily tagged, shared with your groups or social networks and sorted into an album in seconds,” a supporting copy states.

The new phone is expected to be unveiled in a few weeks during the Nokia World event. PocketNow also suggests that the Nokia 800 may also go by the name “Lumia” in certain markets.
