Another new Logitech device has been unveiled. This time, it is a wireless boombox that lets you use your smartphone or tablet as a touch screen player and remote control to stream stereo-quality music through Bluetooth. Like the wireless headset Logitech launched recently, this speaker is built for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

Being cord-free, you can set up this boombox anywhere you prefer as long as it is within 33 feet (or 10 meters) of your media player’s peripheral. The device also features eight custom-designed drivers separate sound frequencies and can run for up to six straight hours, which is probably lesser in actual usage, in every battery charge.

And just like Logitech’s wireless headset, the Logitech Wireless Boombox is expected to appear in retail stores in the United States and Europe beginning September. It comes with a suggested retail price of $179.99.
