Wireless Beats Headphones Appear in FCC

Posted on September 7, 2011

A recent FCC filing has confirmed the presence of a new pair of headphones from Monster Beats by Dr. Dre, only this time it comes as wireless. The headphones, appropriately named Beats Wireless, features the unibody design the brand is known for. The device is connected via Bluetooth, while the rest of it is the usual stuff we see in other Beats headphones, except perhaps for the playback controls and microphone found at the right side.

Beats Wireless is expected to be the first headphones from Monster Beats after HTC bought 51% of the company. The Bluetooth in the headset will work not only in HTC handsets but on almost any cell phone or media player.

Details about pricing and release remain hush-hush, but it could be just as expensive as any other Beats headphones (and it may even be costlier if it is released in the holidays).
