Netflix has announced that it is launching a new unlimited DVD-only plans for U.S.-based customers starting at $7.99 a month. Head onto dvd.netflix.com and order DVDs by mail. Catch is that you can only take one DVD at a time; Netflix has a “2 DVDs at a time plan” for $11.99 per month.

The video subscription service has also eliminated the DVD-and-streaming combo plans. Instead, users can enjoy unlimited streaming for $7.99 monthly and bundle it with the unlimited DVD-by-mail plan for a jacked-up price of $15.98 per month from the current $9.99 Netflix has charged since last year.

These new pricing schemes will take effect immediately among new Netflix users, while existing members would have to wait until September 1.
