Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Phone

Posted on July 8, 2011

Sony has continued to revive its popular Walkman brand through its mobile phones. It has come up with several Sony Ericsson Walkman phones over the years, with music listening features as one of its main selling points. One of the recent ones introduced is the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Phone.

The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Phone is the mobile phone designed for the music listening set. If it is not that obvious that it is made under the Sony Walkman brand, this new phone comes with features

such as a Karaoke function which allows users to sing to the song playing on the phone, complete with lyrics. Features like “Zappin” allows users to scan and hear a 5 or 15 second duration of a song’s chorus at a touch of a button before listening to it. Even listening using headphones is a cinch as it has a 3.5mm audio jack for using any standard headphones.

As a phone, the Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman features a 3 inch intuitive touchscreen display, 64MB RAM, 256MB phone memory with microSD support for up to 32GB of external memory and a 3MP camera. It also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as USB support. The Sony Ericsson Mix Walkman Phone is expected to come around the 3rd quarter of this year. There’s no word yet on how much it is expected to cost.
