For those who use laptops or notebooks in certain tough conditions, getting ordinary consumer models might not just cut it. Rugged and durable laptops are now available to handle such needs and even in the toughest of conditions. And for an upgrade in performance to come with a tough exterior, people may want to check out the new Panasonic Toughbook 31 Series.

The Panasonic Toughbook 31 Series of durable laptops and notebooks has just been upgraded to come with either Intel Core i5 vPro or i3 processors. This Series of rugged laptops also will be given an upgrade in RAM (4GB or 2GB) as well as disk storage space (320GB). The Panasonic Toughbook 31 Series comes with a 13.1 XGA touchscreen display, now upgraded with CircuLumin technology, making its display viewable in sunlight as well as in total darkness. And of course, its toughness comes with MIL-STD-810G and IP65 certification. The Panasonic Toughbook 31 Series is now available at Panasonic, coming at a base price of US$3,299.

Looks like a good tough laptop. I prefer the custom built laptops at Maingear for their high performance.
