With tablet PC’s trying to get a share of the market, it may not only be the features that may matter to consumers. The price for the tablets may become one of the deciding factors that can either make or break a new tablet’s entry into the market. And for the new Archos 7c Home Tablet, the price may be the issue, in a positive way, as it may be one of those more affordable tablet PC’s around.

The new Archos 7c Home Tablet features a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display and runs on the Android Eclair OS and running on a Cortex A8 processor. This tablet supports 720p HD playback, offers WiFi connectivity, an 8GB flash storage, micro SD and SDHC slot and USB 2.0 support. This new tablet provides all the basic features needed by most tablet users today. And at an expected price of just around US$219, the Archos 7c Home Tablet may just be an interesting choice for those still looking out for an affordable tablet for themselves. This new tablet is expected to arrive in the market next week.

Very good starter unit for under $200.00. Only problem it can not use flash player as of yet.But it will be able to in future, which would turn it into a #1 machine.
