There may one too many iPod docks, but finding one that also work on an iPad is a rarity. JBL has introduced its first speaker dock that can cradle both iDevices.

The JBL OnBeat not only can blast music straight out of the iPad, iPhone, or iPod, but it can also play Netflix and YouTube content directly to the television using a composite video output. It also works on non-Apple media players, thanks to its 3.5-millimeter auxiliary jack.

It is unsure whether the JBL OnBeat could work on the iPad 2, but what we do know is that it is available beginning next month for US$149.95.
