It seems that as technology advances, most gadgets seem to get smaller and smaller. Even desktop computers seem to be getting into the fray. Some companies are trying to cram a CPU into as small a casing as possible nowadays. Such is the case that miniature computers like the new Trim Slice from CompuLab of Israel may no longer surprise a lot of people. But considering its size and the features it offers, the Trim Slice may look quite interesting indeed.

The CompuLab Trim Slice is a new miniature computer that packs a NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual Core ARM Cortex A9 processor with an integrated ultra low power GPU. It also comes with a 1GB DDR2 RAM and a SATA SSD up to 64GB. It also features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes with 4 USB 2.0 sockets, SD and microSD slots and an RS232 Serial port. But what makes it interesting is that all these are encased in a fanless all metal nickel plated housing that is only 0.6 of an inch thick. It also uses an average of 3 watts of power when running. The CompuLab Trim Slice Computer is expected to be available by April of this year. Its price not yet been announced though.
