Acer Introduces Iconia Tablet

Posted on January 5, 2011
Category:

Only a few days of 2011 went by and we now have a new tablet set to get its share in the iPad-dominated market. The Iconia Tab A500 by Acer runs on an unspecified Android OS, an Acer UI 4.5, and Verizon 4G LTE.

Hardware-wise, the tablet computer features a 10.1-inch “10-point multitouch” screen, Tegra 2 processor, a built-in HDMI port to output 1080p video, and a gyroscope.

Not much is known about the tablet. Its screen’s resolution is a mystery, as well as the price and release date of this device. What is already known is that the Acer Iconia Tab A500 will be displayed on the Verizon booth come CES time.
