Just in case you don’t know yet, some Web browsers have an ability to track your every movement on the Internet so as advertisers can sell you with targeted ads while viewing websites. Microsoft decides that it is time to protect the people it serves with a new planned feature for Internet Explorer 9: The Tracking Protection.

This feature is supposed to help users take control of what websites would record their browsing history. For instance, viewing a website would only display the elements of that particular site and not any of the third-party advertisements. It is more than just blocking the ads, but making sure third parties are not snooping your every move. It may be something advertisers do not want to hear, but at least it gives users a sense of comfort that their online activities are not being tracked down.
