iDish: Using Your iPad as a Plate

Posted on July 20, 2010
Category:

A Japanese Apple fanboy thought it would be great for the iPad to be used in anything else other than a tablet computer. So, he added protective film over the screen, grab photos of plates from the Internet, and place food over them.

Shiinaneko calls it “iDish.” Of course!

He demonstrated the versatility of the iDish by putting different foods on different photos of plates and serving platters, from sushi on a wooden geta (as seen on the photo) to pudding on an expensive porcelain. The blogger even demonstrated how to serve smaller dishes on an iPhone.

Why eat on an iPad? How dare you ask!
