Samsung unveils the Android-powered Galaxy S smartphone .  It has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1GHz CPU.  (What brand is the CPU?  We are not sure.)  Not only it can play HD videos, but also display augmented reality content with the help of Layar Reality Browser and advanced Location Based Services.  Samsung’s Social Hug provides always-on connection with social networks, thus allowing users to enjoy communicating with friends, colleagues, and families whenever and wherever.

Key features include instant access to content such as news, weather, stocks, and schedules; inter-device connectivity through Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) technology; enabling users to jot down the text first before deciding on which format (SMS/ MMS, e-mail, etc.) to set; fast and easy way to input text on screen via Swype; as well as view and edit Microsoft Office 2007 documents with ThinkFree.  This smartphone can even be converted into a digital photo frame, table clock, calendar, and music station while lounging at home.

No price provided yet, but it will be available in Europe, North America, Latin America, Australia, and Asia.
