It is the features that different digital cameras offer nowadays that make them quite appealing.

For those who love to take pictures of their pets, they might find it quite interesting that there’s a digital camera that caters to this type of hobby. The Fujifilm FinePix Z700 may be, in fact the first point and shoot camera to feature a pet detection mode that can detect dog and cat faces for optimum focus and exposure. A function can also be selected to automatically shoot at the time when the pet looks directly at the camera.

Aside from the unique pet detection function, the Fujifilm FinePix Z700 is also has several other attractive functions. It is equipped with a 12 megapixel 0.5 inch Super CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom lens, a 30MB internal memory and an expansion slot for additional storage. It also has a 3.5 inch LCD touch screen display with dual direction GU, in-camera editing, easy online uploading and HDTV compatible photo and video captures. The Fujifilm FinePix Z700 has just been made available this month and is set to cost around US$280 retail.
