LG GD510 Pop touchscreen phone with solar panel

After listening to what their consumers are demanding, LG comes up with its compact touchscreen phone called GD510, otherwise known as Pop.  This is directly targeted towards people who find feature-packed phones too pricey and too burdensome, which is evident by the absence of WiFi and 3G and replaced it with old-fashioned GPRS/ EDGE technology.

LG also replaced the S-Class user interface, which is available on most LG phones, with a UI that is less complicated.  Other notable features include WQVGA display, a 3-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal memory, and a single home key that serves as a menu, call, and end key depending on the situation.  The phone is encased in brushed aluminum with an optional solar-panel battery cover at the back.  The LG Pop with arrive in Europe on mid-October and in the United States by the end of October.
