Airis Praxis Slim Air netbook

If you think you are looking at a MacBook Air clone, then you better think twice.  Just because Airis is inserting "Air" in its Praxis Slim Air netbook means that they are giving the much-hyped Apple laptop a run for its money.

Let us look into the nitty-gritty of things.  The Praxis Slim Air has a 12-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, and 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor.  What sets it apart from the Mac Air?  For a netbook, it has two USB ports, WiFi, HDMI, a 1.3-megapixel integrated camera, and your choice of Windows XP, Vista, 7, or Linux for your operating system.  Plus, its three-hour battery life puts MacBook Air’s power supply to shame.

The Airis Praxis Slim Air netbook will be available on October in Europe for only 399 euros (about US$586).
