Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet PC

Lenovo introduces its new tablet PC that runs on Windows 7.  The Lenovo ThinkPad X200 tablet has a two-finger capacitive multitouch screen display that is sensitive and responsive to even the slightest touch as you pinch, tap, and flick as users browse through documents, web pages, and photos.  The screen also has an anti-fingerprint coating that prevents smudges.  Its firmware is also optimized to help compensate for slightly imprecise taps on the screen, which help you navigate through the PC better.  You can also take advantage of its improved predictive text, handwriting recognition in more languages, and formula input for math and science equations.

At the heart of the X200 tablet is a newer and faster Core 2 Duo processor.  It also introduces a new app call SimpleTap, which enables uninterrupted use of the touch screen by giving access to hardware-based functions, such as turning on the wireless radio, previewing the camera, as well as adjusting volume and screen brightness, by simply double tapping the screen.  This tablet PC can also be set into a super bright screen that displays images even in direct sunlight, making the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 ideal for those who work on the field like engineers, sales professionals, and even students.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X200 is now available in authorized dealers and on www.lenovo.com, with prices starting at US$1,704.
