Nokia 5230 Touch Phone

Nokia announces the debut of its latest touch phone, the Nokia 5230, which is designed for active people who use their mobile phone not only to make calls and receive messages, but also as a primary instrument for music, photos, videos, and even social networking.

Users can also update the content of their Nokia 5230 by downloading new apps, music, games, videos, and other services through the Nokia Music Store or from the Ovi Store directly from their phones.  The Nokia 5230 can also provide A-GPS navigation with the help of updated Ovi Maps with aerial images, 3D landmarks for over 200 cities worldwide and even terrain map views for both driver and pedestrian navigation.

This touch phone also has an easy-to-use music player with up to 33 hours of playback time.  You can even make this audio experience more personal with the help of any headphone with 3.5mm AV connector.  It also provides quick access to your favorite media and applications from music, photos, YouTube, and Ovi Share.

The Nokia 5230 is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2009, costing at 149 EUR (around US$214).
