Magellan Maestro 4700

The long wait is over for all Magellan fans, as its Maestro 4700 GPS will hit the shelves on July 15 at a suggested retail price of $299.99.  The Magellan Maestro 4700 has a spanking new design, starting from its 4.7-inch color touch screen display, OneTouch user interface, built-in voice command, hands-free Bluetooth calling, and a predictive traffic mode that uses past traffic patterns and suggests alternate routes.

The Maestro 4700 also features a "pedestrian mode," which remembers the location of your car in parking lots so you do not have to guess where you left your vehicle before heading to that basketball game.  This GPS also gives you instant access to all points of interest, giving you results from both standard POI database and the Magellan-exclusive AAA Tourbook guide.  Landmarks and other visual cues are also displayed in 3D, helping drivers perform maneuvers and find destinations.

Ordering your Maestro 4700 comes with a windshield mount and cradle; 12-volt vehicle power adapter; USB cable; on-dash mounting; adhesive disk; a protective pouch; and a quick reference guide.
