Olympus E-P1 Digital Pen

Finally, the camera that has gotten all photo buffs salivating is finally available.  The Olympus’s first Micro Four Thirds camera, dubbed E-P1 Digital Pen (upholding the legacy of the Olympus Pen-series), has all the bells and whistles that provide the best images possible whether for amateur or professional uses.

The Olympus E-P1 is, as of this publishing, the world’s smallest 12.3 megapixel camera with interchangeable lens.  It combines the functions of a digital single lens reflex camera, a high-definition video recorder, and a high-quality audio recorder.  Consider it a full-service imaging studio stuffed inside a very convenient and retro body.

Other cool features include an image stabilizer, Live MOS sensor with TruePic V image processing, ISO 100-6400 sensitivity, a 3-inch LCD, 20 shooting modes, an SDHC clot, and HDMI TV-out.  Its 14-42 lens retracts on its own when not in use, while the Supersonic Wave Filter keeps dust away while swapping lenses.

The Olympus E-P1 is available for as low as $749.
