Dell Releases New-Look LCDs

Dell has recently launched the newer, rounded designs of their larger LCD displays. Dell opted to use the more traditional 16:10 ratio on the new 17- & 19-inch LCDs, rather than the 16:9 ratio they used on their earlier displays. The newer LCDs have a 1440×900 resolution but they share similar design traits with their larger counterparts, including the clean design of the back and the detachable stand that allows users to mount their new Dell LCDs on walls or display arms.

The two new displays vary in image quality and input.

19-inch S1909WX

The 19-inch LCD (S1909WX) has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 300cd/m2 brightness and an HDCP-supporting DVI input providing video; perfect for a wider audience.
