Garmin edge 305

The Garmin Ftiness Edge 305 is everything that you need in a GPS cyclometer. It is easy to attach to the bike and easy to operate. It has a sleek waterproof design. The display is large and easy to read and shows up to more than eight data fields. The Edge 305 could measure pedaling cadence, heart rate, speed, distance, time, calories burned, and altitude, among others.

However, it is not yet 305’s best feature. In it is the much appreciated SiRFSTARIII chipset, which gives accurate coverage even under deep coverage. The high-sensitivity GPS receiver could determine your position in tree cover and in canyos, which makes this Garmin gadget a reliable navigation device.

You could "race" against a virtual partner or compete against time in a preset course.

The heart monitor and cadence sensor are helpful for advanced cyclists in determining if there is improvement in their performance. Both features use the ANT wireless technology, which eliminates cross-talk and interference to give precise measurements. The data collated is stored and could be viewed for reference later.

Other features Edge 205 have are Auto Pause, which pauses the training timer when you slow down considerably and resumes when you speed up once more, Auto Lap that counts a lap every time you pass a specified location or travel a set distance, and the Training Center software. The application gives the user the ability to create workout programs, manage and download courses, and chart one’s progress and performance.

All forms of bikers, from the competitive types to the casual ones would find Garmin Edge 305 very useful.
